WE WON AN ADDY!

As a branding and communication agency, we never thought of entering an advertising competition, let alone the prestigious Greater SF American Advertising Award. But when the opportunity came knocking for us to showcase our work for the 'Hey Marin, WTF' fentanyl awareness campaign, we thought, why not?

Going up against the best and biggest advertising agencies in the world definitely makes you feel like the underdog, especially as we created this campaign pro bono. We couldn't rely on a big budget or a team of specialists to make fancy videos. Instead, we used hard-hitting and provocative headlines to get attention for our local public awareness campaign, and it worked.

Each year, there are thousands of entries, so to win a bronze is quite humbling. Getting recognition means a lot for a scrappy outfit like ours, and we hope it encourages others to enter their work in competitions so it can raise awareness for even greater impact.
